We teach people of all ages and abilities. From 2 years old to 80 years old. If you want to learn to skate, or learn to skate better, our instructors are the best! Classes are every Saturday morning from 10-11. *Only $10 per week or purchase a 7 week package for only $60*.Class Includes: -15-20 minute warm up -30 Minutes Lesson -Practice time -Skate Rental -11 -1 Skating Session.
Beginner Group
Introduces skaters to basic techniques; How to fall down & get up, balance, starting & stopping, marching forward and beginning to roll..
Intermediate Group
Students learn basic forward & backward power pushes & stroking, skating on one foot and forward and backward cross pulls. .
Junior Skating Club
(for all ages). Class Includes: -30 Minute Lesson -Skate Rental -10am Skating Class -11-1 Skating Session.Every week skaters will be introduced to a new Figure Skating move. -Dance Steps -Figures (curves, tracing & turns) -Freestyle (jumps & spins).Only $40 per month! **PREREQUISITE: Completion of beginner and intermediate classes** .Our skating instructors are national champion artistic skaters who have also won numerous awards from the Better Business Bureau for exceptional customer service and training expertise.
Figure Skating
Once you have moved up in the skating classes you will have the opportunity to join Wheelz In Motion, our competitive figure skating club. If you are interested, please speak with Debbie or Dave. Debbie and Dave are certified coaches who coach skaters in dance, figures and freestyle. Dave is a four time national figure skating champion who still skates in competitions. To measure the skaters abilities they take achievement tests and participate in competitions. Competitions are held locally, regionally and nationally. Many of our skaters have won regional and national titles.
Practices are most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6pm. If you are interested, please feel free to stop by, watch a practice and talk to the coach.
